You also are recipients of being immersed in the light. ![]() This experience with God allowed Abraham to receive direct revelation from God. In this week’s Torah portion, you will see how God took Abraham into the realm of the impossible. In last week’s Torah portion, Abraham’s experience with God was limited to the constraints of his own human nature. In this Torah portion, God appeared to Abraham and elevated him in the anointing. “1 And the LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day.” (Genesis 18:1 RSV) The Lord is calling you to connect with Him in a deep and meaningful way through the Light.
